Kids Cafe®

Kids Cafe is an after-school feeding program for children ages 18 and under. Combining a hot, nutritious dinner with cultural and educational activities, the program has been in operation in eastern Michigan since 1996 when the Salvation Army – Beecher Corps first opened its doors to those children in need. Today, 27 sites are up and running assisting 900 children with nutritious meals, activities and guidance.

How Can I Help?

Because each dollar donated can be translated to 14 dollars worth of food, your contribution to the program will mean more food available to local children Make an in-kind donation. Kids Cafe is not just another feeding program; it is an opportunity to enrich children’s lives through education and activity. Keeping that in mind, each program would certainly welcome items such as games, books, and sports equipment.
