The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan works with nearly 600 Hunger Relief Partners to distribute food throughout 22 counties.
There are more than 222,070 people struggling with hunger in eastern Michigan. In 2024, the Food Bank distributed over 39.6 million pounds of food and more than half of that was fresh!
- 15.6 million pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables including Michigan produce from more than a dozen farms
- 4.3 million pounds of dairy products
- 4.7 million pounds of meat and other proteins
